蠱，剛上而柔下。

Setting right the father's decay — the son is there, no blame for the departed. Danger, but good fortune in the end.
干父之蠱，有子，考无咎。厲終吉。
Mending the father's decay. The intention is to carry on the father's work.
干父之蠱，意承考也。
Setting right the mother's decay. Do not be too rigid.
干母之蠱，不可貞。
Mending the mother's decay. Attaining the middle way.
干母之蠱，得中道也。
Setting right the father's decay. Small remorse, no great blame.
干父之蠱，小有悔，无大咎。
Mending the father's decay. In the end, no fault.
干父之蠱，終无咎也。
Tolerating the father's decay — going on leads to humiliation.
裕父之蠱，往见吝。
Indulging the father's decay. Going forward, nothing gained.
裕父之蠱，往未得也。
Setting right the father's decay brings praise.
干父之蠱，用譽。
Mending the father with praise. Carrying on with virtue.
干父用譽，承以德也。
He does not serve kings and princes — he holds his own work higher.
不事王侯，高尚其事。
Not serving king or prince. The will can be taken as a model.
不事王侯，志可則也。
