Adornment succeeds: the yielding comes and gives pattern to the firm.
賁亨，柔來而文剛。

Adorning his toes — he leaves the carriage and walks.
賁其趾，舍車而徒。
Giving up the carriage and walking. It is proper not to ride.
舍車而徒，義弗乘也。
Adorning the beard.
賁其須。
Adorning the beard. Rising with those above.
賁其須，與上興也。
Graceful and moist — lasting perseverance brings good fortune.
賁如濡如，永貞吉。
The good fortune of lasting perseverance: in the end no one overcomes them.
永貞之吉，終莫之陵也。
Graced and white, a white horse as if winged — not a robber, a suitor.
賁如皤如，白馬翰如，匪寇婚媾。
The fourth line is in its place but has doubts. Not a robber, but a marriage partner. In the end no fault.
六4當位疑也。匪寇婚媾，終无尤也。
Grace in the hill garden; the roll of silk is meager. Humiliation, but good fortune in the end.
賁于丘園，束帛戔戔，吝終吉。
The good fortune of the fifth line brings joy.
六五之吉，有喜也。
White grace — simplicity itself. No blame.
白賁，无咎。
Plain adornment, no blame. Those above achieve their aim.
白賁无咎，上得志也。
