Opposition: fire moves upward, lake moves downward.
睽，火動而上，澤動而下。
Six Lines · 六爻
Remorse fades. A lost horse — do not chase it, it returns on its own. Meeting an ill-natured person — no blame.
悔亡。丧马，勿逐自复。见恶人，无咎。
Meeting the wicked person to avoid blame.
见恶人，以避咎也。
Meeting the lord in a narrow lane. No blame.
遇主于巷，无咎。
Meeting the ruler in the lane, the way is not lost.
遇主于巷，未失道也。
Seeing the wagon dragged, the ox held back, the driver branded on the forehead and his nose cut off — no beginning, but an end.
見輿曳其牛掣，其人天且劓，无初有終。
Seeing the carriage dragged, the position is not fitting. No start but an end, because it encounters strength.
見輿曳，位不當也。无初有終，遇剛也。
Isolated by opposition, meeting a kindred spirit — sincerity exchanged. Danger, no blame.
睽孤遇元夫，交孚，厲无咎。
Mutual trust, no blame, the purpose is achieved.
交孚无咎，志行也。
Remorse fades. The kinsman bites through tender flesh — what blame can there be in going?
悔亡。宗噬膚，往何咎。
The clan bites through skin; going brings celebration.
宗噬膚，往有慶也。
Isolated by opposition: a mud-covered pig, a wagon of ghosts — first drawing the bow, then setting it down. Not a robber, a suitor. Going, meeting rain — good fortune.
睽孤見豕負塗，載鬼一車，先弧之後說弧，匪寇婚媾。往遇雨則吉。
Meeting rain brings good fortune; all doubts are gone.
遇雨之吉，羣疑亡也。
