壯于趾征凶，有孚。
Strength in the toes: its trust is used up.

Perseverance brings good fortune.
貞吉。
Perseverance brings good fortune: being centered.
九二貞吉，以中也。
The small person uses force; the noble one refrains — perseverance is dangerous. The ram butts the fence and entangles its horns.
小人用壯，君子用罔，貞厲。羝羊觸藩羸其角。
The small person uses brute force; the wise person does not.
小人用壯，君子罔也。
Perseverance brings good fortune; remorse fades. The fence breaks, the horns come free — power in the axle of the great wagon.
貞吉悔亡，藩決不羸，壯于大輿之輹。
The hedge is breached without entanglement; advancing is still favored.
藩決不羸，尚往也。
Losing the ram with ease. No remorse.
喪羊于易，无悔。
Losing the sheep in the field; the position is not fitting.
喪羊于易，位不當也。
The ram butts the fence — cannot retreat, cannot advance. Nothing furthering; hardship turns to good fortune.
羝羊觸藩不能退不能遂，无攸利，艮則吉。
Unable to retreat or advance, not careful. Stopping brings good fortune; the fault will not last.
不能退不能遂，不詳也。艮則吉，咎不长也。
