素履，往无咎。
Plain shoes going forward — walking alone as desired.
素履之往，獨行願也。
Treading the path smoothly. The recluse perseveres with fortune.
履道坦坦，幽人貞吉。
The secluded person perseveres with good fortune — the center is not disturbed.
幽人貞吉，中不自亂也。
One-eyed but able to see. Lame but able to tread. Treading on the tiger's tail — bites. Misfortune.
眇能視，跛能履。履虎尾，咥人，凶。武人為于大君。
Seeing with one eye does not provide clear sight. Walking with a limp does not allow proper progress. The danger of biting people comes from an unsuitable position. A warrior serving the great ruler — his resolve is firm.
眇能視，不足以有明也。跛能履，不足以與行也。咥人之凶，位不當也。武人為于大君，志剛也。
Treading on the tiger's tail. Cautious and trembling. Fortune in the end.
履虎尾，愬愬，終吉。
Cautious fear ends well — the will is carried out.
愬愬終吉，志行也。
Decisive treading. Perseverance with danger.
夬履，貞厲。
