Treading on the tiger's tail. It does not bite. Success.
履虎尾,不咥人,亨。

Treading. The yielding treads on the strong.
履,柔履剛也。

眇能視,跛能履。履虎尾,咥人,凶。武人為于大君。
Seeing with one eye does not provide clear sight. Walking with a limp does not allow proper progress. The danger of biting people comes from an unsuitable position. A warrior serving the great ruler — his resolve is firm.
眇能視,不足以有明也。跛能履,不足以與行也。咥人之凶,位不當也。武人為于大君,志剛也。
Line 4
Treading on the tiger's tail. Cautious and trembling. Fortune in the end.
履虎尾,愬愬,終吉。
Cautious fear ends well — the will is carried out.
愬愬終吉,志行也。

Decisive treading. Perseverance with danger.
夬履,貞厲。
Resolute walking with perseverance is perilous — the position is exactly right.
夬履貞厲,位正当也。

Looking at one's treading. Examining the signs. Supreme fortune.
視履,考祥其旋,元吉。
Supreme good fortune at the top — great celebrations.
元吉在上,大有慶也。
